02. WHAT’S UP WITH SOCKS AT THE POOL?

I have this friend, and she told me the craziest story, if I told you, you would not believe me. Trust me, I couldn’t get it pass my mind how people can go swimming with socks on. Did I mention they were made of cotton? Okay here is what she told me, during our summer vacation when she went out for a swim with some other friends, (by the way she didn’t invite me) she saw like three guys swimming with their socks on (I KNOW!) And that it was an occurrence that happened more than one time. When I heard this, I thought she was messing with me, but no, she was actually serious. She saw three guys get inside a pool and swim with their socks on. Now I don’t know if they had ugly feet and were embarrassed by it, or if they it’s simply some new trend we are supposed to do now in days. If it is, then I never received that memo.

01. WHAT’S UP WITH TEACHERS?

Most teachers stay after school. I wonder why. Of course they stay to help out their students, but don’t they have a life? Don’t take this the wrong way, I admire the teachers that stay for their student. In fact, I’m one of those students who need help once in a while. Okay, I know that teachers stay a couple of hours after students are released, but when it is finally their time to go home, what do teachers do? I mean, do they have “homework” and just go home and grade papers, prolonging their job? Do they head straight to the refrigerator like I do? And if they do, what do they eat? What activities do they do? I wonder if they have time to watch television, do they watch The Simpsons, Family Guy, or do they just watch The News? What if they have a MySpace and commented one another. Would they gossip about their students like we do about them? Talking about how brilliant some of us are, or speaking of how dumb and slow we are, mocking our hair, maybe our nose, or the way we dress. Some teachers are really cool and really involucrate their selves in the classroom, while others are very strict and demanding (I’ve had them all). Since they are like that at school, I imagine if they would be like that at home as well. I think someday I will make it my mission to find a conclusion to all my questions and end this quest once and for all, who knows, maybe I'll have to become a teacher to find out.
